GCT - Rapid & Blitz Poland

Tournament Structure

Rapid: A single round-robin where each player faces every other participant once.​

Blitz: A double round-robin where each player faces every other participant twice.​

Time Controls

Rapid: 25 minutes, with a 10-second increment per move.​

Blitz: 5 minutes, with a 2-second increment per move.​

The Superbet Rapid & Blitz Poland 2025 is the inaugural event of the 2025 Grand Chess Tour (GCT), scheduled from April 24 to May 1, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland.

This tournament features ten top players competing in both rapid and blitz formats for a prize fund of $175,000 USD.
