The Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2026 (88th edition) will be held from 16 January to 1 February 2026 in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands. The event features the Masters group of 14 elite players and the Challengers group; this year’s Masters lineup is the youngest in the tournament’s history, with an average age of just ~23 years.
