10 players will play 9 rounds in a round-robin format with a classical time control.

The 2026 Prague Chess Festival’s Masters section is a prestigious elite classical round-robin event taking place at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague, featuring the World Champion Gukesh alongside fan favorites in Hans Niemann, Vincent Keymer, Nodirbek Abdusattorov and more. The tournament counts towards the FIDE 2026-2027 circuit as the players look to secure points for an eventual 2028 Candidates tournament qualification.
