UzChess Cup 2025

System: 10-player single round-robin.

Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the rest of the game; 30-second increment from move 1.

Draw rule: No draw offers allowed before move 30.

Tiebreaks for 1st Place:

1. Two blitz games, 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment.

2. If still tied, an Armageddon game: White 5 min vs. Black 4 min. 2-second increment starts after move 60 (draw = Black wins).

The 2025 UzChess Cup is the second edition of Uzbekistan’s premier invitational, set up by the national federation to pair top grandmasters with up-and-coming local talent.
