Tournament Structure:

Group Stage: Players are divided into groups to compete in a round-robin format.​

Knockout Stage: Based on group stage results, players advance to either the championship or consolation bracket.​

Time Control: Rapid time control with 10 minutes plus a 5-second increment per move.​

PogChamps 6 is an online chess tournament organized by Chess.com, scheduled from April 29 to May 2, 2025. This event features 12 celebrity creators and professional athletes competing in a fun and unique chess tournament. The tournament has a $100,000 prize pool and hopes to popularize chess further by including famous figures from different fields.
