Norway Chess Women

Participants: Six players​

Structure: Double round-robin, where each participant plays against every other player twice​

Time Control: Classical chess time controls​

Tiebreaks: In case of a draw in the classical game, an Armageddon game is played to determine the winner​

Schedule: The tournament takes place from May 26 to June 6, 2025

Norway Chess Women 2025 is an international chess tournament featuring six of the world's top female players. Established in 2024, the event runs concurrently with the main Norway Chess tournament, sharing the same venue, format, and prize fund.
